Great sit to stand option

Looked for a sit to stand option and thought about a table stand. For a little more I got a whole table support option. Box came with all the pieces, and some assembly required. Heavy duty and solid, and fairly easy to assemble by one person, but can be faster with two. Installed this on a regular Ikea table top, about 1" in from the edges. I agree with some of the other commenters that wished the legs could go lower. Wished it could go 2" lower for a full range of options. At the highest setting is 4'1 which is really high.

Great if you can stand the lowest height

Long story short, EXCELLENT build quality and functionality for the price. BUT, if you are 5’ 10’ or shorter with short/normal legs, then I’d recommend a lower height base. At 29” as the lowest height, this desk was 3” taller than I could stand, and even though I could adjust my chair so my arms were comfortable, me being 5’ 10’ had my legs hovering uncomfortably but slightly off the ground.Great purchase for a taller person.

Bought 7 for my business work area

Love this thing. No motor so it will not break on you. Very strong frame, a grown man can easily sit on it. Very large width available. I am throwing 7 ft wide Melamine tops on them and giving them to different production areas in the shop so that everyone can adjust to their desired standing height. They could also adjust to sitting height if they were doing something detailed but in our business the standing heights were the priority.

Too Tall for Sitting

I was planning to use this on a Home Depot butcher block(1.5 in thick), since finding desk legs with center support is impossible. I didn't exactly need a standing desk function. The issue is the desk legs are too tall for sitting. With legs and top, the lowest height would've been 30.5 in. Any standard desk starts at about 28 in. (legs and top) and is adjustable from there - it may seem like a small amount but it can be pretty uncomfortable from an ergonomics standpoint. Obviously, this depends on your height, but for me, it did not work and returned the legs. Even my IKEA Galant from ages ago was adjustable from about a kid's level to a tall adult. I'll give this an extra star because the build quality from my quick time seemed impressive.
